Our first game-centric community is live! Just About EVE Online launched earlier today and we’re thrilled to see our first capsuleers already joining the platform. JA EVE represents the prototype for much that we want to achieve with our community spaces, so even if you don’t play, you should come take a look.
The best bounties yet
With a range of real-money rewards from $3 to $50 - and even a whopping $500 for this mysterious challenge - you’ll find more bounties than we’ve yet put live at once, as well as a peek at dozens more we’re planning for the coming weeks. There are big payouts for high-effort contributions, lots of small prizes for more light-hearted fare (so, memes) and plenty in between.
As you probably know by now, the best bounty submissions will be gathered together and turned into articles or videos for the whole community to enjoy. Our goal is to provide a tantalising menu of fun in-game challenges, with something for everyone to do across a mix of media forms, skill levels, and personalities, all producing quality content to inform and entertain. We look forward to tweaking the upcoming slate with community feedback, and eventually, to handing bounty setting over to the community entirely, generating a beautiful cycle of content and growth.
In short, if you thought you’d seen what the bounty system could do with the bug-hunting challenges we’ve had so far, well… it’s time to have another look.
Welcome capsuleers
We’ve been delighted to see a number of new members joining the platform since the launch of Just About EVE. You can say hello over on the introduction thread - please do make them feel welcome! If you’d like to get stuck into the EVE community yourself, there’s a pinned welcome post with everything you need to know, and a little on how it fits in to our vision for the future development of Just About.
Platform update
Our tech team continues to work wonders every week, squashing bugs with a hammer in one hand while building entirely new features with another in the other. This week’s platform update is now live and fixes our search bar while adding the ability to sort and filter each community’s content feed. Come on in and have a play.
