How do bounties work on Just About?
Bounties are all about rewarding you for your community support - here's how they work and how to get your mitts on a few dollars.
You might have seen us bang on about bounties at Just About. What are they? Cash rewards for helping us, the community, and others with everything from finding bugs to creating great content. Here’s the quick explanation, from Holly, our social media and video editor.
We’re already paying out
Last week we closed our first bounties and handed out some rewards. Those were for helping us find bugs - did we mention we’re still in Alpha? - and it was a great test case for how we can all work together and earn rewards while benefiting everyone.
If that’s piqued your interest, we’ve got a handful of bounties running right now. Creating an on-topic discussion will snag you some cash, as will replying to a community discussion. Make sure your reply adds something to the conversation, because getting 10 positive reactions to a post will earn you a few bucks as well. Oh, and we’re still punching our way through the Alpha build, so helping us find a unique bug is an earner too.
The bounty ethos
Essentially, bounties are about promoting creativity and community collaboration - you can find an in depth guide to how we create bounties, our ethos behind them, and the different types of bounties right here.
