Attenborough in Dragon's Dogma and future bounties on Just About
We're running bounties on Minecraft, Warhammer, Helldivers, and more. Here's why...
In the first quarter of the year, we’ve more than doubled the Spaces and communities on Just About. They’re doing great - we’ve saved some of our members’ best content so far for you at the end of this newsletter - so it’s time to think about next steps.
We’ll be trying something a little different on Just About Video Games over the next couple of months.
Future bounties on Just About Video Games
Over the coming weeks, in addition to the usual programming on Just About Video Games, we’ll be running multiple bounties based on the following games and game IP:
Dungeons & Dragons
GTA
Helldivers
Microsoft Flight Simulator
Minecraft
Pokémon
Warhammer
Our goal is to broaden the scope of things for our members to get involved with. It makes sense to start with games that have some of the biggest communities, but which also vary a little in nature; we’re covering core video gaming IP, the hottest indie of the moment, the the biggest names in tabletop gaming… you get the picture.
We are extremely interested in the reception these will get…
…and we’ll tune them accordingly. If our members reveal a ton of expertise for one IP, we’ve prepped bounties that they’ll love more than the basic stuff. Many of these IPs contain several games, so if Warhammer 40k revs engines but Age of Sigmar doesn’t, we’re ready for that, too.
And if we get a ton of excitement for a particular IP, that’ll be a factor as we consider the next steps for Just About at a broader level.
With that in mind, there’s no such thing as too much feedback, so hop into the platform version of this announcement and tell us what you think of these seven games. We’ll see you there!
Dragon’s Dogma as seen by Attenborough
Most of our bounties are easy to get involved with, but occasionally we’ll invite folks to make or do something that requires a fair bit of work.
It’s always a little nervy doing so, but the response to this bounty has been something special. Believe us when we say that if you enjoy this, it’s worth hopping into the platform to come and see what else our members have made.
And so, as promised up top, we’ll leave you with this: a nature documentary in Dragon’s Dogma 2 in the style of Sir David Attenborough, made by Just About member Konquest.
